What Will Wake Amercians Up?

The DOW and all markets closed down again today. The experts say it isn’t the credit markets as they are showing signs of recovery. Some say its because investors are afraid of a global recession. Why do you think it is? I have heard every excuse known to man, but it all boils down to one thing. It’s the economy stupid. The U.S. economy has been in a slump for quite a while and sadly the RNC and the DNC have turned it into a blame game issue. There is blame to go around on all sides.
Congressmen on both sides of the aisle have stood back and allowed their corporate friends and themselves to profit take off of the backs of America’s Middle Class, but instead of us being outraged, what do we do? Decided to get all excited about a candidate who is just as responsible as all the others. Why don’t we have the courage and backbone as a nation to stand up and say no more? No more allowing slick talking lawyers and politicians to con us into believing they care about us. Make then eat the terrible pill they keep trying to jam down our throats.
Here is the answer, and I know this terrible to say, but let the market slide. The markets have been trying to correct for years, but because corrections mean CEO’s and executives lose money and power, they wouldn’t allow it to happen. They employed their friends in Congress and the White House to play the ole shell game and we being the sheeple we are let them screw us. Now it is time to pay the piper, and the price tag is high. This correction should be called the “karma correction” because as karma tells us. You get what you deserve.
If we will just allow the markets to slide and hit bottom, the market will begin rebounding. After it hits rock bottom we can also start throwing the bums out who got us in this mess. We need to remove the crooks. They have become drunk with power and greed and it is time for them to held accountable. Why is it so hard for my fellow citizens to see this? Are they so blinded by the media that they refuse to think for themselves?
Let me ask you this. When you say, or said the Pledge of Allegiance who were you saying it to? To the Federal Government or to the Republic? If you answered the Feds you are beyond help and need to just shoot yourself. If you said the Republic you are talking about you and me, us, “We the People”, a unity of states bound together for a common purpose. We are a Republic of States, not one big state under a central government.
Only we, the middle class, can stop what is happening. Give our children the chance to grow up in an America that is prosperous because of our hard work, not one that is run by a central government that profits off our misery. Please remember on election day that a vote for one of the two major parties is just a vote for more politics as usual. Make a real difference and vote for a third party candidate. Turn in your party card and become an independent. Tell Washington NO MORE!

Even though I am an Obama supporter, I sure wish we had a STRONG ENOUGH third party that would shake things up in Washington. Until then, I fear that I am throwing away my vote by not voting for one of the two major candidates. I fear that there are too many people who just don’t care enough and too many “career” politicians in power to actually let a third party come into prominence. (sp)

Preston,
Thanks for commenting. I try to figure out how we have allowed two parties to basically hijack our nation myself. I am tired of not being able to vote for the best candidate and instead being stuck with the lesser of two evils. I like your site very much BTW you are a thinker and while I may not agree with you on some things I can see we do agree on others.
Thanks again.
