For over a year I have been warning the Republican National Convention they are headed for a disaster, but than again who am I? Just some small time blogger who has no reason to be taken seriously. I mean really who am I. I am not some rich bastard who bought his button. I am not some national columnist who has a forum, hell I am not even a local columnist. I am just a nobody.

Well you know what now we are hearing more and more Republican and Conservative columnist and talk show hosts saying what I have been saying all along. Sean Hannity is probably the biggest mouth of the RNC and he still wants to say that the RNC is the party of fiscal responsibility, and all the other cliches. B**lsh*t!!! The RNC has spent our money recklessly! They are involved in all kinds of scandals and morally reprehensible behavior. In other words the line between the RNC and the DNC is almost non-existant.

In USA TODAY for example they wrote and article entitled “Republicans fear public has lost confidence” in the article they quote Rep. Tom Cole from Oklahoma:

Rep. Tom Cole of Oklahoma, who runs the committee tasked with helping elect Republicans to Congress, said Tuesday’s defeat in Mississippi — after losing GOP seats in other special elections in Illinois and Louisiana — was evidence that “a large section of the American people doesn’t have confidence in the Republican Party.”

The story gets worse. In the Washington Post there is an article entitled “Agitated? Irritable? Hostile? Aggressive? Impulsive? Restless?” columnist Dana Milbank talks about the reaction from various Republican House members after the House Republican breakfast:

Leaving the weekly House Republican breakfast meeting yesterday in the basement of the Capitol, the congressmen wore grim faces. “How’s it going in there?” a reporter asked.

“Hard to tell,” said Rep. Phil English (R-Pa.), brushing past.

“I’m running late,” said Rep. Steve Chabot (R-Ohio).

Among the few to emerge smiling was Rep. Tom Davis of Virginia; he’s retiring from Congress and just presented his colleagues with a memo about the many Republican ailments. Reporters asked Davis to diagnose his party.

“Well, this is the floor,” Davis said, stomping on the concrete beneath him. “And we’re underneath the floor.” Without strong medicine, he said, Republicans will lose 25 seats in November. “We’re the airplane flying into the mountain.”

Davis disappeared, and Rep. Tom Cole (R-Okla.), the man in charge of the House Republicans’ campaign effort, appeared. He looked to be a candidate for mood elevation as he described the meeting he just left. “People are concerned, and legitimately so,” he said. “Clearly we’ve got problems that are deep and serious in terms of how we’re going to do in the fall elections.”

Still yet is the real canary in the coal mine. Trust me the canary is almost dead. CNN Politics highlights the plan Republicans are going to propose to try and make things better in an article entitled “House GOP unveils ‘change’ agenda for fall.” In this article we find the following statements made in the agenda statement provided to CNN:

“Today’s families face challenges that yesterday’s laws don’t address. Sixty percent of mothers with children under are 6 are now working outside the home. The majority of families have not one parent working but both parents working.”

The agenda goes on to argue that laws need to be changed to provide American families with “more freedom in their jobs; greater health care and retirement security; safer communities; access to quality, affordable education; and the ability for future generations to compete in the global economy.”

WHAT??? The problem is that we got away from the laws originally provided for by our founding fathers. They never intended for the government to be our nanny, to be our Savior or to be involved in every aspect of our lives. Sadly because they have done all of this we have both parents having to work to make ends meet. We have to pay a large part of almost any monies we receive to the Federal monster. We have to appease the money hungry whores in Congress and we have allowed corporations to run our government.

As I wrote when I started this post out I have documented the slow and steady decline of both political parties and the RNC in particular. In all these articles I have repeatedly warned the RNC and DNC:

And many, many more

Lets take a stand America. Quite listening when you are told by Limbaugh or Hannity or any other talking head that any vote made by a Republican not for McCain is a half vote or a wasted vote. It is neither. If you choose to right in a candidate maybe it will wake the RNC up and make them realize that we will not be puppets and pawns in this little game of theirs. The two party system is a miserable failure and this current race goes to show this. Vote you conscience, vote for the candidate of your choice. Jump off the RNC bandwagon until they decide to listen to the nobodies of this world. Maybe then they will see the error of their ways and return back to a party of responsibility that can be trusted to carry out the will of the founders.

Me too! I’ve been ranting on the Repubs in just about every post I put up about McCain. There is now way in H.E. double hockey sticks that I am voting for a sell out like McShamnesty and for the RNC to hoist him up on their shoulders like he’s the answer for the party! Who the heck are they kidding?

I haven’t quite chosen yet who my write-in is going to be. Here’s my list so far (In no particular order):

    Mitt Romney
    Mike Huckabee
    Fred Thompson
    Mickey Mouse
    Tinkerbell
    Ronald Reagan
    Newt Gingrich

Yes, I’m serious about the two in the middle and a dead president. I just haven’t figured out whether I want to write-in a serious candidate - or go the other route. I know that no matter which I choose, it sends the message. No more fake conservatives and no more fake republicans! I’m tired of the crap and they sold us all down the river. BTW - have you seen that McCain is losing about 26% (on average) of the votes in each of the primaries? If you check out the voting records, Huckabee & Romney are splitting that 26% that McCain isn’t getting. That alone should be sending a message. There are already 26% of the registered voting republicans in this country who are telling them they refuse to vote for this RINO.

As always - another excellent post!

    @The BoBo:

Thanks so much for the comment. I love the name McShamnesty.

I am disgusted at the RNC and the talking heads on the radio making sound like a vote for anybody but McShamnesty is a wasted vote. Everything that is wrong with the RNC is summed up by that thought process. Any vote is a good vote. It is our duty to vote either in support or in protest to the party. I, like you, will be voting in protest against the status quo and voting for the candidate who I believe in.

Your blog is one of the best around and I love reading it.

    Peace
