I love the name McShamnesty. I am disgusted at the RNC and the talking heads on the radio making sound like a vote for anybody but McShamnesty is a wasted vote. Everything that is wrong with the RNC is summed up by that thought process. Any vote is a good vote. It is our duty to vote either in support or in protest to the party. I, like you, will be voting in protest against the status quo and voting for the candidate who I believe in. Your blog is one of the best around and I love reading it. I've been ranting on the Repubs in just about every post I put up about McCain. There is now way in H.E. double hockey sticks that I am voting for a sell out like McShamnesty and for the RNC to hoist him up on their shoulders like he's the answer for the party! Who the heck are they kidding? I haven't quite chosen yet who my write-in is going to be. Here's my list so far (In no particular order): Mitt Romney Mike Huckabee Fred Thompson Mickey Mouse Tinkerbell Ronald Reagan Newt Gingrich Yes, I'm serious about the two in the middle and a dead president. I just haven't figured out whether I want to write-in a serious candidate - or go the other route. I know that no matter which I choose, it sends the message. No more fake conservatives and no more fake republicans! I'm tired of the crap and they sold us all down the river. BTW - have you seen that McCain is losing about 26% (on average) of the votes in each of the primaries? If you check out the voting records, Huckabee & Romney are splitting that 26% that McCain isn't getting. That alone should be sending a message. There are already 26% of the registered voting republicans in this country who are telling them they refuse to vote for this RINO. As always - another excellent post!
