Many people who know me can tell you that beside my family, politics and religion my greatest passion is surfing. Most people have no idea that surfing can be done in Florida, but it can even here on the West Central Coast. In fact I have been teaching my daughter how to surf over this last year and she is now an addict too. That’s her standing in the photo next to me. She is such a little Grom.

Recently I had been trying to find myself a good surfboard and by accident I came across a local surfboard shaper who makes custom boards, and the end result is the beautiful 10′ Performance Longboard you see in the picture above. The name of the company is Revolution Surfboards and the owner/shaper is Don Coriell. He is an avid surfer and believes in making boards that are not only fun to ride, they are also equal if not better than the quality of boards you get from the big companies. Best of all they are affordable. They are designed for surfers, not CEO’s.
