It is stunning how many people vote Democrat or Republican because they think it makes them look like they really care more about everything than everyone else. Instead of thinking for themselves they regurgitate the nonsense that they hear without even checking to see if what they heard was correct. Case in point is the Ethic & Earmark bill that Pelosi and Reid promised to pass when they took over the Congress. The original bill looked very promising. It included full dislosure of all earmarks (pork barrell projects) that were being inserted into bills including putting them in a searchable database online. Sounds like a great bill.

Well in true political style they have abandoned their word and re-worked the bill to no longer require full disclosure of earmarks, and other ways to continue the scamming and fleecing of American taxpayers. Disgusting to say the least. While the IRS and politicans try to convince us that we need to pay more taxes they waste our money on crap projects that help them get re-elected. Meanwhile bridges collapse, troops are being killed due to lack of proper equipment and people are driven into bankruptcy by the IRS and credit card companies. Why? So that they can hold onto power and keep making themselves richer and richer.

Still Democrats and some Republicans sit with their head in the sand worrying about Global Warming or whatever the pet cause of the MSM happens to be this year. Maybe if they took a minute and start thinking for themselves they would see the truth. That truth is that both parties as we know them have failed the American people.
