The Council of American Islamic Relations (CAIR) is quick to defend anything they deem a slight to Islam. Where is their outrage over the killing of two South Korean Christian [[Image:PostImages/shim.jpg|left]]missionaries who were part of a larger Christian group that was kidnapped in Afghanistan while trying to help the poor in the region. The remaining 21 hostages are still being held by the Taliban, and maybe executed if the 12 noon deadline today for the release of Taliban terrorists isn’t met.

Last week the leader of the group, Pastor Bae Hyung-kyu, was executed while today the body of another innocent man was found. 29 year old Shim Sung-Min’s body was dumped in a field [[Image:PostImages/shimsmom.jpg|right]]where he was recovered by local police.

The OIC at least stepped up to the plate by calling for the “immediate” release of the South Korean hostages captured by the Taliban in Afghanistan. In a statement, the 57-member OIC said “kidnapping and hostage-taking of innocent civilians are serious crimes against humanity and therefore run counter to the tenets of Islam and its noble values”.

It appealed “to those who are holding the hostages to end this un-Islamic practice,” while expressing its “solidarity with the Afghan government on this unfortunate crisis”.

So where is CAIR? Granted this isn’t a U.S. event, but it is the work of Islamic extremist against Christians. CAIR claims they are just as concerned about Christian persecution as they are about Islamic persecution yet not a peep. While other Islamic groups in the U.S. have condemned the kidnappings and murder of innocent civilians trying to help the poor in Afghanistan, CAIR is strangely silent.

The US media is also strangely quiet. While there are online articles about this story most of the MSM has avoided this story. I wonder why? Maybe stories like this help destroy their campaign of systematically making the U.S. look like monsters who kill and eat innocent children in Iraq and Afghanistan. Maybe because this is a group of Christians, and in the MSM’s view it is no great loss?

What this incident does show is the ruthlessness nature of our enemy, radical Islam. I get disgusted when I hear the world make us out to be the terrible slave master yet the Taliban have been called Freedom Fighters, insurgents, militia, etc. Call them what they are, Islamofascist, terrorists, murderers, butchers. They are fighting to take Afghanistan back to the stone age again, and create another breeding ground for future terrorist.

I would hope that ALL organizations that call themselves Islamic will have the courage to speak out against this senseless violence. If they don’t, I believe it shows their true colors.
