Online Pornography And Child Molestation Linked - Why Are They Hiding The Report?
Published by The Tampa Pirate July 20th, 2007 in Anti-Pedo Stuff, Crime, Follywood, GovernmentIn a ground breaking study conducted by psychiatrists at the Federal Bureau of Prisons, they found a definite link between men who viewed child porn online and those that molested children. To people who have been fighting online pedophiles this comes as no great revelation, but to the general populace this comes as a surprise. Until the study was conducted it was believed that 30-40% of men who viewed child porn were also molesters, after the study the figure is 85%. The study was done scientifically and anonymously.
An article in The Toronto Star explains how the study was conducted:
The psychologists who conducted the new study, Andres Hernandez and Michael Bourke, focused on 155 male inmates who had volunteered to be treated at the federal prison in Butner, N.C., according to a draft of the paper obtained by The New York Times from outside experts who want the study published. The inmates in the study were all serving sentences for possession or distribution of child pornography.
About every six months as part of an 18-month treatment program, they filled out an anonymous record of their sexual history, including a “victims list” tallying their previous victims of abuse. Therapists encouraged the men to be honest. The psychologists compared these confessions with the men’s criminal sexual histories at the time of sentencing. More than 85 per cent admitted to abusing at least one child, compared with 26 per cent who were known to have committed any “hands on” offenses at sentencing. The researchers also counted many more total victims: 1,777, a more than 20-fold increase from the 75 identified when the men were sentenced.
Hernandez and Bourke concluded that “many Internet child pornography offenders may be undetected child molesters.”
The problem now is that the PC crowd wants the report withheld from the general public. They say that until they can figure out how to report the information they don’t want the finding misused. WTF???
Hernandez and Burke submitted the paper to The Journal of Family Violence, a widely read peer-reviewed publication in the field, and it was accepted.
But in a letter obtained by the Times, dated April 3, Judi Garrett, an official of the Bureau of Prisons, asked that the editors of the journal to withdraw the study because it did not meet “agency approval.”
On May 2, a bureau official wrote a letter to the organizers of a law enforcement conference, arguing the study should be withheld.
“We believe it unwise to generalize from limited observations gained in treatment or in records review to the broader population of persons who engage in such behaviour,” the official wrote in the letter, obtained by the Times.
Why is this? Why would the FBP try to squelch information that would help identify child molesters and bring the pedophiles to the surface? The government motive for anything 9 times out of 10 is financial. Is the porn industry such a money boon for the government that they don’t want to rock the boat? Something doesn’t smell right and I hope people can start getting to the bottom of this.
I cannot even tell you how many times I have heard the argument made by online pedophiles that they only look at pictures and fantasize about molesting children, but would never touch them. My argument has always been when will fantasy not be enough and compulsion take over? Once you begin desensitizing yourself to the horrors of child porn committing the act becomes more and more easier. That isn’t conjecture, it is a fact.
When you read a social commentary one of the common questions asked is how has our civilization as a whole has become so corrupt and jaded sexually? The answer is simple, we are surrounded by sex and sexual images. From Follywood to Madison Ave, Paris to Moscow to Tokyo to Bejing we are surrounded by exploitation. With the advent of the internet, online porn is becoming a major money maker. Whatever your fantasy is you can see it online.
Women and some men are treated like pieces of meat that can be used and discarded like trash. You can witness women and men doing acts that are disgusting, and having things done to them that are depraved and they seem to love it. There are countless sites that cover just about anything you can imagine such as; babysitter exploitation, father-daughter, mother-son, young boy-old men, young female-old female, deflowering of young girls, using girls as toilets, rape, torture, etc the list can go on and on ad nauseum. You can see that most of these people have some serious self-esteem issues and feel that sex is their only way to feel like a valuable human being.
We are damaging ourselves to a point where sexual addiction is at an all time high as is pedophilia. Our children are being sold down the river all in the name of “free market economics”. Porn, like alcohol and drugs, is a vice and the internet with its free nature is enabling destructive behavior. I am not saying that porn needs to be outlawed, but it does need to be better regulated. If it can’t be than it doesn’t need to be online so that children can access it. We must take precautions to protect our children.
I hope that someone who has access to the FBP can find out why they are suppressing the report. They need to start bringing the facts out so that we can figure out what we need to do to protect our children.
