Since the shallow comments about his wife have gotten no real traction the MSM now needs to find some other way to make Mr. Thompson appear to be evil. The L.A. Times uncovered a story on July 7th that stated Mr. Thompson had lobbied for a Pro-Abortion group in 1991. At first the claim was adamantly denied by Thompson spokesman Mark Corallo, but as time has gone by Thompson has said that this could have occurred when he worked as a lawyer for the Aernt Fox Washington law firm.

In a article published on Powerline.com and echoed in an interview with Sean Hannity Fred said:

Now the billing documents and minutes from a lobby meeting show that Mr. Thompson was involved. It is my opinion that Mr. Thompson should immediately correct the record and state exactly what occurred. One of the main reasons I, and many others, am voting for Mr. Thompson, if he runs, is that he is not a politics as usual Washington insider. If he did represent a Pro-Choice group back in 1991 that doesn’t make him evil. His political doublespeak however, and partial disclosures are making him look like a complete insider and just another politician.
