U.N. May Be Involved In Another Scam
Published by The Tampa Pirate June 28th, 2007 in Government, International, Islam, Military, Religion, TerrorismI received a tip from a reader who pays attention to world news. This is a story that gets almost zero coverage here, but it should. The facts are still coming in, but it looks like the UN Special Envoy to Kosovo, Marti Ahtisaari, may have accepted bribes in the millions from Albanian gang leaders and also alleged sexual favors of 2 sex slaves delivered to his house by NATO. I have searched the internet and have found some stories related to this. The links with the exception of the Clinton letter were provided by the alert reader on her blog.
Ahtasaari was the Finnish President and has been a close ally of President Bush and others in government. If these allegations are true it should severely damage the integrity of the U.N.. In my mind this also explains why were cared about Kosovo while millions died and millions more made refugees in Rwanda.
Read these stories and let me know what you think.

Editor’s Note:
Since publication of the Focus report and this opinon based on that report, new information suggests that the intelligence report the Bosnian Serb news agency Focus claims was filed at the UN apparently was never received by the UN.
Since the alleged report is the only piece of evidence provided in support of the claims by Focus, the claims in the Focus story - and the opinion below based on that, may be false. Please check back later for an update.

Night Watch: NEW YORK - Sometimes the news is funny. The Bosnian news agency Focus is reporting the shocking news United Nations Special Envoy for Kosovo, Marti Ahtisaari, received at least 2 million Euros from an Albanian organized crime leader so Ahtisaari would write a proposal recommending Kosovo independence from Serbia.
The Focus report is based on an investigation by the German BND intelligence service, the lead investigating officer is BND Secret Service Brigadier Luke Neiman. Conversations between Ahtisaari and an ethnic Albanian crime figure have been recorded, regarding a transfer of 2 million Euros ($2,150,000) into Ahtisaari’s Swiss bank account no. 239700-93457-00097, which was masked by an offshore account code XS52-KOLER.
The accounts are controlled by Exhet Boria a Kosovo Albanian widely known on the higher levels of Albanian and European criminal circles especially the ones involved in the trafficking of heroin. [SERBIANNA]
The investigation concentrated on a 6:23 a.m. delivery of two silver briefcases on the morning of February 12, 2007, when a jeep, owned by the Kosovo Albanian government based in Pristina, drove up to a UN building where Ahtisaari was staying. BND agents have confirmed both briefcases were full of cash.
Neither the UN or Ahtisaari are making any comments. Serbia Speaker of Parliament Oliver Dulic is calling for a formal inquiry. On March 18, 2007 crossfirewar.com mentioned an article-photo, which appeared on Serbianna, linked to Crossfire War, of a 2004 fundraiser for U. S. Presidential Candidate Senator John Kerry that was attended by an Albanian weapons dealer, Florin Krasniqi.
From Saleil:
The report of German intelligence agency BND showed that Ahtisaari was heavily bribed during his status as a mediator for Kosovo status.
The BND report has been sent to Ban Ki-moon, secretary general of the UN. German agents did an investigation, following request of Ban Ki-moon, and discovered that 2 million Euros have been transferred from the account 239700-93457-00097, in Basel, Switzerland, account of Ekshet Boria, right hand of Albanian mafia, to account 3459346699004533, codename VOLANND, of a Cyprus bank.
BND agents noticed that on 12th of February 2007, at 6:23pm, jeep with registration plate PR-443-22CD, belonging to Albanian government, has arrived in front of Ahtisaari office. Two men with two silver-coloured suitcases, which a source inside building said were full of cash, were given to Ahtisaari.
Similarly, on 24th of February 2007, 17:44 pm, black mercedes with no plates was noticed, with Ekshet Boria and two silver-coloured suitcases, which were again delivered to Ahtisaari.
Agents discovered that all four suitcases, protected as diplomatic packages, were transfered to Finland.
On 28th of February, 23:47 pm, a KFOR jeep was noticed, with two young girls and one Boria bodyguard entering Ahtisaari building. Girls were in Ahtisaari rooms until 5:17am next morning, when they left with the same car, according to BND agents report.

All I can say is *nothing* would surprise me about the UN……unless you posted that they had been effective or made a positive difference in something!
