[[Image:PostImages/tb_SHAD_BULLSHARK_450.jpg|left|250|100|Surf and Skim Report]] My 7 year old daughter has just taken up surfing this summer and so far so good. he is learning all the lingo and how to take care of her board. She is practicing her paddling skills and is learning to pop-up. She knows what to do in case she gets caught in a riptide. So far, so good.

We have talked about sharks as Florida is the shark attack capitol of the world, and she feels like she can handle it. Above is a picture of a huge Bull Shark that was pulled out of the gulf just a few miles from where she surfs. It is the second monster shark that has been caught in the area in as many months.

BTW the bull shark is a very cranky, aggressive shark. I think I will be keeping a tight leash on her for awhile.
