I heard a newstory today about how even though there have been severe restrictions on logging, the salmon population is still dcereasing. The reason? While the environmentalist whackos did everything they could to stop logging, little did they realize that loggers did more to save salmon than they have. Now that logging is so heavily regulated and logging companies are forced to sell off lands they once maintained, the land is being bought by developers. Not just any developers, real estate developers. They are building subdivisions and strip malls where there was once forests protecting the streams and creeks where salmon were protected from run off and pollution.

You see what the left wing idiots failed to understand was that even though the logging companies cut down forest, they also replanted the forest. If they didn’t they would run themselves out of business. The biggest problem even in the 1980’s and 1990’s was urban sprawl, not logging companies. Enviornmentalist didn’t care about the facts, they only cared about being reactionary like they are about everything. Instead of looking at all sides of an issue, they take one or two possible facts and then turn them into bonafide truth whether it is real or not. Many loggers lost arms, legs and their lives when these bean curd eating idiots put spikes in trees.

Way back in 1994 an man named Dexter Van Zile wrote an article published in The Salmon Page the man was a visionary, but at the time I am sure environmentalist viewed him as the enemy. I hope that before the MSM, the environmentalists, and the government cause more harm than good, they will take the time to look at things from all sides. The MSM (Media Matters, CNN, Fox, ABC, PMSNBC, etc) need to quit jumping on the whacko bandwagon and take a step back. I was reading that there is a scientist who is proposing we launch 800,000 small reflective plates into orbit to deflect the suns rays. The scary part is that he is starting to receive funding for this lamebrained stunt. This almost sounds like that Simpson’s where Mr. Burns blotted out the sun to force people to use more power.

Lets stop the hysteria guys. Lets look at the changing global climate with clear vision and coherant thoughts. Quit telling us poor people that we need to change our carbon footprint so that you can offset yours and not change. If Republicans would have though up this idea, the liberals would have immediately branded it as a money making scheme, when their leaders come up with this scam it is visionary. I wonder if the lambs and sheep who follow Edwards and Gore around like lapdogs ever read George Orwell’s “Animal Farm”? If memory serves there is a part where the rules for the commune change from “All animals are Equal” to read “Some animals are more equal than others.”
