Apparently this year the PS3 is the hot item to want for Christmas. So hot even, that people camped out overnight in hopes of purchasing one! Camped out?!?! I guess if you stand to make a considerable amount of money selling it, then maybe the camp out might be worth it. Maybe. And what about that? The people who are willing to pay 3 or 4 times retail in an online bidding war to have a toy that there will be plenty of, after the holidays? Isn’t that usually how these things pan out? Remember Cabbage Patch Dolls? Teddy Ruxpin? Tickle Me Elmo? Beanie Babies? All of those were toys that people were fighting (literally fighting) over during Christmas seasons past. Put them on the shelves now and I’ll bet you couldn’t give them away! Yet somehow that desire, that urge to have what everyone else has drives people, to what I would consider to be temporary insanity. Not me though. I’ll just wait, or do without. What do I want for Christmas? Peace on Earth, goodwill towards men, and a really good pair of slippers. What do you want? That’s all for now…
Ciao! Hasta la pasta baby?
