I have written before about the online (MMORPG) game Mafia Boss, but I like to throw a pitch in every once in a while for it because not only is it free, but it is now enjoying over 650,000 players. In the game, you can be everything from a thief, lone hitman or join one of the user created families of the game. In a family, you work your way up thru the ranks. The ranks are Solider, Captain, Underboss, Bruglione, Consigliere or the Boss.

The game is very similar to being in the realtime mob, except you don’t have to deal with getting capped in the real world or pesky real life jail time. The other plus is the friendships you make. Since the game is played by people all over the world, you make friendships and alliances that go on for many rounds and sometimes for life. If you ever had thought about what life in the mob was like, this is the game for you.
