I read a pretty crazy story today about this dude named Ralph "Bucky: Phillips who escaped from an Erie County jail on April 2 by using a can open to cut open the ceiling in the kitchen. He has eluded police by using his outdoors skill and burglarizing hunting cabins in the woods on the Pennsylvania/New York border.

Residents in the local area had started cheering for old Bucky for his ability to elude police and survive. One small resturant even stared selling "Bucky" burgers and local bars were selling "Got Bucky?" T-shirts. Apparently last night Bucky's actions may have cost him his local support. According to CNN two NY State Troopers were staking out the residence of Bucky's ex-girlfriend because they thought he maybe there. Unfortunatly the two troopers were sniped from long range and both are in local hospitals in critical condition.

The bounty of Bucky's head has been $50,000 since the shooting it has been raised to $250,000. Local residence are also now expressing their unhappiness with Bucky and with the price tag so high on his head it will only be a matter of time till they catch him.
