Tropical Storm Ernesto Update # 20
Published by The Tampa Pirate August 29th, 2006 in Tampa, WeatherErnesto is still struggling to reform it's center. That latest satellite images show a very large area of convection and it appears the storm is getting organized, but the Hurricane Hunters have been unable to pin point or confirm this. As I predicted the track is starting to shift westward again and before the end of the afternoon I bet it will shift even further west. The motion appears to be slowing slightly currently 315 @ 11 Knots.
Here in Tampa we have high clouds passing through that are from the outflow bands and more will be coming through. Check out the current Satellite, radar and model information HERE.
